Sega assists a range of clients with their MACT compliance needs. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued final National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS) which require source owners to develop compliance plans and possibly install emission reductions equipment, switch fuels, or shut down units. The emissions reduction equipment required must meet Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) standards. Sega has relevant, recent, extensive experience studying and developing MACT compliance plans, and specifying and overseeing the installation of required emission reduction and monitoring systems and coordinating testing requirements.
