CO2 Reduction
Despite significant decreases in overall emissions and improvements in monitored levels at gas-, oil-, and coal-fired generation facilities, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) or CO2 emissions have increased and are increasing the earth’s average air temperature. Sega Inc. can provide the necessary assistance to reduce emissions, including CO2, and meet all future federal, state, and local requirements.
Since CO2 control technologies are not mature in comparison to the other pollutants like NOx and SO2, CO2 capture becomes an extremely difficult challenge. Both short- and long-term solutions are monitored and the viability of each technology is closely followed. Current options like efficiency improvements, fuel optimization, and offsets are available. Sega Inc. also stays abreast on developing CO2 capture and sequestration technologies to provide the best possible solutions for meeting future CO2 regulations.
