• Kansas City, Kansas Board of Public Utilities, Nearman Creek Power Station, Kansas City, Kansas
  Sega Inc. provided senior level air permitting support and advisory services required for a simple-cycle combustion turbine addition including the specification, selection, and installation/certification oversight of the CEMs system for the new CTG unit. Provided senior level consulting services to the owner for initial testing/certification of the CEMs, including specification, selection, and oversight of the test/certification firm.

• City of Ames, Iowa, Gas Turbine 2 (GT2), Ames, Iowa
  Sega Inc. provided oversight to obtain an air permit for a new simple-cycle combustion turbine unit at an existing power generation site. Provided air permit compliance services throughout start-up and initial operation, including obtaining approval to use Low Mass Emitting (LME) alternative methodology for an acid rain applicable unit. Services included completion of LME certification and identification of the monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements for owner’s DAHS, and overseeing a stack testing firm to develop the fuel-and-unit-specific emission factor determination.

• City of Chanute, Kansas, Plant 2, Chanute, Kansas
  Sega Inc. provided ongoing air quality services including obtaining approval to replace continuous emission monitoring with a Low Mass Emitting (LME) alternative methodology for an acid rain applicable unit. Services included completion of LME certification and completion of the monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements for owner’s DAHS, and development of the fuel-and-unit-specific emission factor based on past CEMs data.

• City of Winfield, Kansas, East 12^th Street Power Plant, Winfield, Kansas

• Independence Power & Light, Missouri City Station, Independence, Missouri
  Sega Inc. developed a draft Compliance Assurance Monitoring (CAM) plan for an existing coal-fired facility and submitted the plan for review by MDNR.
