Representative Projects:
- City of Columbia, Missouri, Grindstone 161/69-kV Transmission Line, Columbia, Missouri
The project included a new triple circuit steel pole transmission line approximately 2.75 miles in length, two 161-kV circuits and one 69-kV circuit on single steel pole structures. Tangent structures were direct embedded with large angle and dead-end structures placed on reinforced concrete drilled piers.
- Westar Energy, North Central and Northeast Kansas
This project included the design of three new 115-kV transmission lines to serve oil pipeline pumping stations.- Walnut to TC Severance 115-kV line – 3.8 miles of double circuit wood h-frame construction and 7.5 miles of single pole, single circuit braced post line. Steel poles were used for angles and dead-end structures
- South Seneca to TC Seneca 115-kV line – 2.2 miles of double circuit wood h-frame construction and 5.5 miles of single pole, single circuit braced post line. Steel poles were used for angles and dead-end structures.
- Knob Hill to Steel City 115-kV line – 9.2 miles of double circuit h-frame construction and 24 miles of single pole, single circuit braced post line. Steel poles were used for angles and dead-end structures.
