What does Sega stand for?
When Sega was started in 1973, the letters stood for Specialized
Electronics and Graphics Arts. In 1982, after our business direction focused on energy
industry services, the acronym was dropped
and the name was changed to "Sega".
Are you related with the game company?
Although we like to have fun, we know our clients take their
business very seriously. We pronounce the "e" in our name with a long
"e" vowel sound, not a long "a" sound like the
game company. So, no, we are not associated with the game company.
