7. What hours can I contact you?
The non-summer hours for the main office are 8:00 to 5:00, Monday through Friday. The summer hours (Memorial Day to Labor Day) are 7:30 to 5:30, Monday through Thursday and 7:30 to 11:30 on Friday. You can leave a message at any time on our general office voicemail box at 913-681-2881.

Sega Inc. has 150 employees. We have a diverse staff of engineers, programmers, technicians, drafters, technical writers, operational support staff, and administrative staff.

9. What is Plant Betterment?
Plant Betterment is Sega Inc.’s term for investments that improve the efficiency and longevity of existing plants and facilities. Examples of Plant Betterment projects include feasibility studies for capital expenditures, complete engineer/construction upgrades, control equipment upgrades, software enhancements, maintenance and calibration services, performance studies, and more. 10. What does Sega stand for?
When Sega Inc. was started in 1973, the letters stood for Specialized Electronics and Graphics Arts. In 1982, after our business direction focused on energy industry services, the acronym was dropped and the name was changed to “Sega”.

11. Are you related with the game company?
Although we like to have fun, we know our clients take their business very seriously. We pronounce the “e” in our name with a long “e” vowel sound, not a long “a” sound like the game company. So, no, we are not associated with the game company.
